‹The Chairs, The Eyes, and a Blind Prophet› is an adaptation of Chairs by the playwright Eugene Ionesco. In this work, the company 丙 Society collaborates with Kim, Han Kyul, who works with strange sounds generated from mechanical malfunctions. People see the lives of others through media, and share and experience events of other space-times, both directly and indirectly. 丙 Society and Kim Hankyul theatrically express the method of communication through media, which is about directly and indirectly communicating with others who are both near and distant. The audience observes the ‘visible’ mechanical mechanism and the ‘invisible’ characters within the spacetime of the theater, and comes to perceive the ‘illusionary’ sensation of media.
